How can I contact you?

The contact tab on the website is the best method. Please allow up to 72 hours for responses. The direct email is info@christinshootspeople.com. Phone calls and text message do not work well.

What is included in the session fee?
The session fee includes the photographer’s time and talent, a half hour to 2 hour session, depending on package and a gallery of your edited proofs.

Is there a deposit required? Why?
The full session fee is required at the time of booking to secure your date. That block of time becomes off limits to anyone else seeking to make an appointment at that time. It means that if you cancel, not only will I not receive full payment for the time I have committed to working with you, it also means that there is almost no possibility of me being able make up for my loss by selling that block of time to someone else. A non-refundable deposit deters people from casually cancelling the time they have committed to. Cancellations and no shows are very hurtful in that they directly result in a loss of time and money.

How long before I can view my pictures?
After a session, you can expect a fully edited session in about 3 weeks.  Busier seasons (October-December) can take up to 4 weeks for processing. This does not apply to events, which can take 4-8 weeks for editing. Photos will be uploaded to christinshootspeople.exposuremanager.com for viewing. A link will be emailed to you along with a photographer-chosen password. Photos will be available for 2 weeks after upload for viewing and purchasing unless otherwise discussed.

I love the pictures! Can I copy them or upload them to Facebook?
You may not copy, modify, sell, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, publish, or license any of my photographs from this site without the express written permission of Christin Armstrong. All photos are taken and edited with a specific composition in mind. PLEASE do not crop them to fit your own taste or edit my logo out. All images remain property of Christin McQueen Photography even after purchase. Scanning and reprinting is copyright infringement and is strictly forbidden and punishable by law. Downloads and download packages are available for purchase on christinshootspeople.com

What if I do not like my pictures?
If you are not absolutely ELATED after viewing your photos, I will gladly re-take your portraits without a studio fee. This is only available one time. I do not provide refunds. If you are dissatisfied with your photos, for a reason I had control over, and you wish to schedule a re-shoot, you must express this directly and clearly by phone or in a email with an explanation between 24 hours of receiving your link. Re-shoots are subject to scheduling availability and cannot be scheduled any quicker than availability allows. The satisfaction guarantee applies to paying clients only. The satisfaction guarantee applies to photography only. Although I will do my best to counteract any of the affects of the following, we are not responsible for: bad hair days, breakouts, stretch marks, bad skin, illnesses, make-up application, inclement weather, lint, wardrobe malfunctions or defects (including wrinkles, rips, and, stains), or sweat, or matters beyond our control (i.e. acts of God). Of course the prints are considered a custom product, which cannot be re-sold. Due to the nature of our product, all sales are final.

How much can I expect to spend?
The minimum you can expect to spend for a normal session is $375.

What should we wear?
Obviously, your wardrobe choice is up to you, but I do like to make recommendations. Please, no all white or all black shirts. Very subtle patterns and layers work well. It is not at all necessary for everyone in the group/family to match each other, but wearing complementary colors is always appealing to the eye in photographs. I personally like to get down and dirty while photographing and I appreciate clients who like to do the same. With that said, wearing your Sunday Best is not recommended. What if I need a refund?
All session fees are non-refundable. In the event that a refund is processed, it is solely at the discretion of the photographer. They must be processed and may take up to 30 days. Refunds will be processed minus a $35 standard service fee, which includes processing fees, web hosting fees and costs incurred pertaining to the session.
